February Editor's Letter

It’s a new year and we are so excited to be broadening our reach in Nashville. It’s been so much fun and we thank all of your for the support. This issue, Michael introduces us to Chef Josh Weekley of Fish & Company. Chef Weekley is an extraordinary person and we are proud to shine the spotlight on him.

Turning to cocktails, Kristie introduces us to Erin Keefe. Erin is a manager and bartender at Mercy Lounge and she sits down with Kristie for a Q&A.

We’re pleased to announce our continued sponsorship of the Nashville Film Festival. It’s an incredible event and we are so proud to bring the best of the culinary scene to the Liberty Tent. We hope you’ll join us in supporting one of Nashville’s largest events and one of the top film festivals in the country. Again, a special thank you to Brian Owens and Ted Crockett for the opportunity.

We also want to say a huge thank you to Chef Bob Waggoner, Executive Chef at Watermark. Chef Waggoner is a master in the kitchen and spent an entire evening making our culinary dreams come true (see pictures at right). We had a blast and truly appreciate the time, advice and encouragement that Chef Waggoner has given to us.

We’d like to say a special thank you to the following people, as well: Twyla Lambert, without whom we wouldn’t be in print; Jeff MacGregor and the entire Fish & Co. staff for the patience and unwavering support; Rod Pewitt for being someone we can always count on to lift our spirits; all of our contributing photographers, Kyle Dreier, Amy Rich, Amy Crowley and JP Evans for making it all look so delicious; and to all of our advertisers, without whom we do not exist.

We’ll keep you posted on the website, but for now you can keep up with us on facebook and twitter. We hope you are having a healthy, happy and delicious new year!

- Cindy
